Four Seasons Garden

This design turned an unloved shady patch into a garden with evolving character throughout the year…

Each plant works particularly hard in the design for this small, north-facing space. Flowers, foliage and bark were all drawn on to create a colour palette that shifts over the seasons. Whites and greens create a fresh feel in spring, followed by jubilant lilacs and tangerines in summer, and earthy rusts and burgundies in autumn and winter.
