Tom grew up in Cumbria, running in the Yorkshire Dales and exploring the Lake District. He’s always felt a strong connection to his surroundings, plants and nature.

During several years working as a diplomat, Tom built a passion for working with people from all walks of life to understand, hone and achieve their visions.

Combining these passions, Tom trained as a Garden Designer before establishing Hinson Garden Design. Tom now leads the design and management of our projects to transform outdoor spaces and exceed the visions of the people using them.
